About the Business LineWaterWe create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary
  • Acting as the Consultant’s representative for a specific package and reports to the Project Manager (“PM”);
  • Oversee the works package and ensure that the works package is delivered in accordance to the works specification, quality and safety requirements;
  • Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the project;
  • Reviewing Contractor’s Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan, Method Statements and other documents;
  • Monitors site staff performance;
  • Supervising the execution of all technical aspects of the project;
  • Resolving site issues on site and oversee the early resolution of any technical and resources issues;
  • Assigning responsibility to key subordinates in their respective fields of duties;
  • Providing input to performance reviews for subordinates;
  • Monitoring and reports to the PM on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project schedule, performance or Client relation;
  • Establishing meetings to review project status and formulate action items;
  • Representing the company in all relevant meetings;
  • Ensure the timely supply of information to the contractors including responses to the queries from the contractors;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including contractor and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities;
  • Oversee and monitor progress of as-built records by site staffs;
  • Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate;
  • This is a contractual position.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 20 years of related senior construction supervision experience (with at least 5 years of experience as RE) on major infrastructure projects, particularly bridges and underground structures with a broad general engineering background;
  • Conversant in statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report;
  • Strong supervision and leadership skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player;
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical or equivalent;
  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as Professional Engineer or other recognised bodies such as Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
