Position description
The main accountabilities of the Sales Manager, Contract & Project Sales shall includes:
Service Units Long Term Service Agreements Orders and Renewals
Services Projects Order Intakes and Won Deals
Service Unit’s Customer Satisfactions (CROLS) under Contracts & Projects
Hit rates, number of opportunities identified
SOLD Margin for Services Projects & Long Term Agreements
Support Sales growth and developments in the Service Unit for Asset Management Contracts, Maintenance Management Contracts, Technical Management Contracts and all Wartsila portfolios Services and Upgrading projects.
Ensure proper cooperation with Contract Solution Management and Delivery Management (including Project centres) functions, central, area and Service Units.
Sales and product training of sales force (CRM), technical and commercial sales and sales support including joint visits with local sales people within the service units
Pro-active Sales to identified key Customer and opportunities in the assigned markets
Ensure proper commercial handling of contracts, such as ensuring contract review, proper risk assessment, etc.
Initiate and conduct kick off meetings to hand over to Contract Management Organisation
Maintain a short-term (annual) action planning process and a system for progress follow-up and reporting
Requirements
Good communications, Customer relation & Negotiation Skills,
Culture knowledge, Contract Legal understanding
Problem solving and decision-making
Financial skills
Professional / technical skills (engine, electrical, . knowledge)
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft office, SAP, CRM is an added advantage
BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent 2-5 years of similar experience in Marine, Oil and/or Gas Market
