Job Description
The role will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and will be overseeing staff strength of 50 in Malaysia. The successful applicant will be in-charge of the achievement of the P&L for all branch outlets and must be well-verse of contract logistics / 3PL industry.
Responsibilities
- In-charge of the full spectrum of operation, financial and sales functions of the Country. Achieve all financial, product volume, revenue and expense control goals and objectives as established by the management.
- Strategy management. Establish performance/productivity goals which are aggressive, real and tied to overall company strategy and goals. The position has marked contribution for establishing longer term Malaysia growth business strategy based on the overall company vision and strategy.
- Constantly manage divergent needs between various functions and is responsible for the delivery of the Malaysia business plans, the position will exercise a multi-dimensional role encompassing all areas of the business.
- Ensure all reports are prepared as per guidelines set by the corporate office in respective areas of finance, sales, operations, and administrative matters, which are important for review by the management
- The applicant must be a MALAYSIAN Citizen. Strong language proficiency in English/Mandarin and Malay.
- The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business/related fields; MBA is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding/3PL/4PL industry.
- Strong leadership capabilities. Ability to mentor and coach the team.
- Strong commercial and operations experience.
- Assertive, determined, influential and strong IQ/EQ.
