Job Summary
- Oversee the assigned duties within a work package and ensure that the works are delivered in accordance to the works specification, quality and safety requirements;
- Responsible for following up and monitoring on instructions & commitments associated with the project;
- Checking and reviewing Contractor’s Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan, Method Statements and other documents;
- Monitors site staff performance;
- Supervising the execution of all technical aspects of the assigned scope of the project;
- Resolving site issues on site and oversee the early resolution of any technical and resources issues;
- Assigning responsibilities to key subordinates in their respective fields of duties;
- Providing input to performance reviews for subordinates;
- Monitoring and reports to the client on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project schedule, performance or Client relation;
- Attend relevant meetings to review project status and suggest action items;
- Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate;
- Ensure the timely supply of information to the contractors including responses to the queries from the contractors;
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including contractors and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities;
- Check and oversee the preparation as-built records;
- This is a contractual position.
- Minimum 12 years of related experience on major infrastructure projects and high rise development;
- Preferably registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as Professional Engineer or other recognised bodies such as Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
